Recipe Ingredients for Rice and Beans

100 g onion, chopped
1 tbsp canola oil
750 g beef
796 ml tomatoes, canned
750 g beans, snap
156 ml tomato paste
2 tsp. Garlic
1 Salt and Pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Rice and Beans

  1. Fry onions

  2. Cut beef into chunks

  3. Braise beef

  4. Add tomatoes (chop if necessary)

  5. Add beans and remaining ingredients

  6. Simmer for at least 1 hour
