Old family stand by dish. Good to get rid of the winter chill. (like Pizza only more filling and maybe better for you) Quick and easy too! Good way to use up left over chicken.

Recipe Ingredients for Rice Amore

4 cups rice, cooked and now cool
28 ounces tomato sauce
3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
4 cups chicken, shredded
2 tbsp oregano, dried
2 tbsp garlic, crused

Recipe Directions for Rice Amore

  1. Preheat oven to 375. mix rice with tomato sauce, oregano, and garlic.

  2. Make sure chicken is either shredded or chopped into small pieces.

  3. Mix in the chicken and about 2 cupps of the cheese. Mix very well to make sure you get chees and chicken through out.

  4. Smooth out top and sprinkel remaning cheese on.

  5. Cover and back for 1/2 hour. Remover lid and bake for another 15 - 20 min. until top is bubbly and golden... like a pizza.

  6. Let cool for 5 min. before serving.
