Recipe Ingredients for Ria's Granola

8 cups oats
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup bran
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup almonds
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 cup raisins
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup dried blueberries
3/4 cup dried apricots
3/4 cup banana chips
1 cup corn oil
1 1/2 cups honey
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Ria's Granola

  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Combine all fried ingredients in another bowl.

  3. Heat oil, honey and vanilla in the microwave.

  4. Grease a deep cookie sheet, spread layer of dry mix on sheet. Pour honey mixture over dry mix. Repeat in batches.

  5. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, turning every 3 minutes and then every minute for the last 5.

  6. Add fruit mix when cooled.
