Recipe Ingredients for Rhubarb Jam

5 c rhubarb
3 c sugar
3 oz. strawberry gelatin

Recipe Directions for Rhubarb Jam

  1. Clean 3 pint jars for jelly, make certain that rings and lids are available, and place lids in boiling water for three minutes, remove from heat and allow to cool.

  2. Clean and cut rhubarb into half inch chunks.

  3. Place in bowl and add three cups of sugar.

  4. Let stand, occasionally stirring for three to five hours.

  5. Placed in NON METALLIC pot and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

  6. Once at boiling, reduce heat and let gently boil for ten minutes.

  7. Remove from stove, stir in gelatin, place in jars.
