Recipe Ingredients for Rhubarb Dessert with Splenda Blend

3/4 cup SPLENDA for baking
1/2 cup sugar/SPLENDA Blend for baking
1 cup flour
1 egg
1/3 cup Smart Balance (Omega), melted
1 tsp baking powder
16 oz. rhubarb, frozen or fresh

Recipe Directions for Rhubarb Dessert with Splenda Blend

  1. Put rhubarb in an 8 inch pan or a deep pie pan.

  2. Sprinkle rhubarb with 3/4 cup SPLENDA for baking. In a separate bowl, melt Smart Balance.

  3. In a small bowl, add flour, 1/2 cup SPLENDA/Sugar, and baking powder. Add egg to flour mixture and stir until the egg is mixed into the dry ingredients. It will be crumbly. Sprinkle this ixture over the fruit in the pan. Then pour the melted margarine over the flour/egg mixture in the pan.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
