This chutney goes well with game. Cut the butter in half for less fat. Recipe analyzer does not recognize crasins, so add the craisins (1.5 tbsp per serving) separately to food log.

Recipe Ingredients for Rhubarb chutney

4 stalks rhubarb, medium, 1 inch slices
1/2 onion, sweet, chopped
1/4 cup sugar
1 apple, tart, chopped
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 cup raspberries

Recipe Directions for Rhubarb chutney

  1. Heat butter and olive oil. Add onion, rhubarb, applies and cook at medium heat adding sugar, craisins, spices for 10 minutes. Fold in raspberries. Makes about 3 cups. Serving is about 1/2 cup.

  2. 1/3 cup dried cranberries (Ocean Spray craisins) not recognized by analyzer - add separately to food log.
