Recipe Ingredients for Revised Pumpkin Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/4 cup Canola Oil
1/4 cup Applesauce
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Egg Whites
1 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 cup Oats
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
15 oz Can Pumpkin
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

Recipe Directions for Revised Pumpkin Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

  1. - Mix together Oil & Sugars - Beat in Egg & Vanilla

  2. - Combine flour, oats, baking soda, & cinnamon - stir into creamed mixture

  3. Alternately with pumpkin

  4. - Fold in Chocolate Chips

  5. - Drop by teaspoonfuls onto sprayed baking sheet

  6. - Bake 13 - 15 mins or until lightly browned

  7. Notes: 1. They come out kind of soft.

  8. 2. If you want a flatter cookie, you may have to flatten the cookie

  9. out with a spatula, midway through baking.
