low carb bread substitute made with 8 oz regular cream cheese and 8 large eggs

Recipe Ingredients for Regular Cream Cheese Oopsie Rolls

8 large eggs
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 tsp cream of tartar

Recipe Directions for Regular Cream Cheese Oopsie Rolls

  1. Separate eggs - do not let any yolk get into the whites.

  2. Whip egg whites until frothy then add cream of tartar.

  3. Continue to beat egg whites until they form and hold stiff peaks.

  4. Cut up cream cheese block and add to egg yolks. Beat egg yolk mixture until fairly smooth.

  5. Pour egg yolk mixture around edge of egg whites.

  6. Gently fold egg yolk mixture into egg whites.

  7. Drop in 12 equal dollops onto a greased cookie sheets or muffin top pans. Gently smooth tops with back of spoon.

  8. Cook in 300 degree oven for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and leave door ajar to dry rolls out a little.

  9. When cool, place each roll between wax paper and store in container or plastic bag. Try to store upright so rolls don't compress.

  10. To heat place in toaster or place in microwave for about 10-15 seconds.
