Easy fresh refrigerator pickles.

Recipe Ingredients for Refrigerator Pickles

3 cucumber+8-1/4" cucumbers
1 onion
1 tbsp salt
2 tsp celery seed
1 tbsp mustard seed
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup white vinegar

Recipe Directions for Refrigerator Pickles

Slice cucumbers 1/8" thick into a medium bowl. Finely chop onion and add it to cucumbers. Sprinkle with salt, mustard seed and celery seed. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and set aside for 1 hour. In a a small saucepan bring the vinegar to a boil then remove immediately from the heat. Stir in sugar until dissolved and allow to cool. Pour over cucumbers. Mix well, cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
