Bran muffin batter will last in the refrigerator for a few weeks. Delicious for breakfast!

Recipe Ingredients for Refrigerator Bran Muffins

1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
4 cups buttermilk
5 tsp. baking soda
4 cups Kellogg's All Bran
2 cups water, boiling
5 cups flour
1 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Refrigerator Bran Muffins

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pour boiling water over All Bran. Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture alternating with buttermilk. Fill Pans 2/3 full. Bake 20 minutes.
