3 1/2 cups black beans
1/4 cup white onion
3 tbsp canola oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Refried Black Beans

  1. sautee onions in canola oil over medium heat.

  2. add a couple spoonfuls of beans at a time, thoroughly mashing as you go

  3. add liquid and spices, allow to cook for a few minutes
