Recipe Ingredients for 'refried' black beans

2 teaspoon
4 teaspoon
1 onion
9 cups water

Recipe Directions for 'refried' black beans

  1. Combine all ingredients in your slowcooker.

  2. Add seasonings to taste, like cumin, chopped jalapeno, or garlic.

  3. Cook on high for 8 hours.

  4. Strain beans using a slotted spoon.

  5. Mash with potato masher or use a handheld mixer to combine, adding water to get desired consistency.
