Recipe Ingredients for Refried Beans

15 oz organic pinto beans
1 tsp canola oil
1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Refried Beans

  1. Add undrained pinto beans to 1 qt. saucepan on medium low heat, simmer for 10 minutes.

  2. Mash beans with potato masher for 2 minutes, in pan. Stir.

  3. Add oil and cheddar cheese, stir. Simmer for 10 more minutes, cover, remove from heat.

  4. Serve within 1 hour.
