Recipe Ingredients for Refried Beans

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove
1 hot pepper
1/4 cup onions
3 tablespoons chili powder
31 oz. black beans
2 tablespoons lime juice

Recipe Directions for Refried Beans

  1. Saute onions, garlic and jalapeno in olive oil.

  2. Stir in one packet of Sazon or 3 tablespoons of chili powder.

  3. Add 1 can of beans including liquid; heat until beans of softened.

  4. Using a fork or potato masher, mash the beans.

  5. Drain second can of beans and add to pot.

  6. Stir in lime juice to taste.
