Chili heavy on the beans and light on the beef

Recipe Ingredients for Refried Bean Chili

2 lbs ground beef
2 cups chopped onion
2 T chopped garlic
4 T chili powder
2 T ground cumin
45 oz beans, kidney
30 oz refried beans
2 cups chunky salsa
1 1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Refried Bean Chili

  1. In large stockpot, cook ground beef, onion, garlic, and spices over med high heat.

  2. Stir in beans, salsa, and beer. Turn heat to low and let simmer until thickened, 1-2 hours.
