Recipe Ingredients for Reduced Fat Rugelach

4 cups flour
1 cup Smart Balance spread
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup light sour cream
2 1/4 tsp. yeast
2 cups walnuts
3/4 cup skim milk
1/2 cup sugar

Recipe Directions for Reduced Fat Rugelach

Chop and Boil the walnuts with milk and sugar two minutes. Stir in 1 tsp. of vanilla and set aside. Cut together the flour and butter. Beat the yolks then beat them, the sour cream and the yeast into the flour. Dough will be a bit dry, but only add water if so dry it won't pull together in a ball. Make 8 equal size balls. Roll them into 1/8" pastries; cut with pastry wheel or pizza cutter into 8 even wedges. Drop a little filling on the wide end of each, Fold in edges then roll to the point. Bake 350 degrees 20 min.
