Recipe Ingredients for reduced fat oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 cups old fashioned oats
1 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for reduced fat oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

Combine dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugars. Add applesauce, eggs, and vanilla blend to combine thoroughly. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips. Bake at 350 on parchment paper for 7 or more minutes. Do not overbake.
