1/2 large onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. carrots, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 1/4 c. red wine

Recipe Directions for Red Wine Reduction Sauce

heat oil in pan, saute garlic quickly, add onion, celery and carrots and saute for a bit until nearly cooked. Add red wine and cook over low heat until thickened
