Recipe Ingredients for Red Velvet Pancakes for One

0.13 cup Flour
20 grams Flour
0.5 Teaspoon Baking Powder
0.13 Teaspoon Baking Powder
0.13 tsp Salt, Table
2 tbsp Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
0.33 cup 2% Milk
0.1 cup 2% Milk

Recipe Directions for Red Velvet Pancakes for One

  1. 2T flour (I used 20g whole-wheat pastry)

  2. 2T plus 1tsp oat bran (20g) (you can sub flour)

  3. red food coloring

  4. 1/2 tsp plus 1/8 tsp baking powder

  5. scant 1/8 tsp salt

  6. 2T cocoa powder (I use regular, but if you want a more brownie-like taste, try dutch cocoa)

  7. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  8. 1/3 cup plus 1T milk (95g, or more, if needed)

  9. optional: 1-2 T sugar (I left it out. If using liquid sweetener, decrease milk accordingly)

  10. Mix dry ingredients. Add wet and mix. Then make your pancakes! (Makes 5-6).
