Smooth and spicy salsa for tamales and to be used as a general condiment

Recipe Ingredients for Red Tamale Salsa

42 grams Peppers, Pasilla, Dried
37 grams Garlic
271 grams Onions
312 grams Ripe Tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Red Tamale Salsa

  1. Boil dried chilies/peppers (I mix different types) until soft

  2. Remove stems and seeds (optional)

  3. Saute using vegetable stock along with Garlic and Onions

  4. Add tomatoes and simmer some more

  5. Blend mix until relatively smooth

  6. Sometimes I use 483 grams Tomatillos[11954], sometimes I use 465 grams Whole Roma Tomatoes, Organic[104398], and sometimes I use 329 grams of Ripe Tomatoes[11529]
