Recipe Ingredients for Red Sauce with Ground Turkey

1 lb ground turkey
1 chopped onion
3 cloves minced garlic
1 cup chopped mushrooms
15 oz tomato sauce
15 oz diced tomatoes
6 oz tomato paste
2 tsp honey
1 salt
1 pepper
1 tsp minced jalapeno
1 tbls olive oil
1 tbls chopped fresh oregano
1 tbls chopped fresh basil

Recipe Directions for Red Sauce with Ground Turkey

  1. Saute onions, garlic, jalapenos, and mushrooms in olive oil until soft.

  2. Add turkey and cook through. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  3. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, and honey.

  4. Simmer 5 minute or until hot.

  5. Serve
