one of my favourite soups that can rest aside and be a healthy and nutritious snack for any time of day.

Recipe Ingredients for red lentil soup

1 cup Red Lentils
1/2 cup dry bulgur
1 cup, sliced Onions
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 small (1-3/4" to 2-1/2" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled
3 grams Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for red lentil soup

  1. caramelize chopped onions in oo and water

  2. add a tbsp of tomato paste and cook for a minute

  3. add diced potato and stir for another minute

  4. add red lentils and bulgur

  5. add ground cumin, black pepper and salt

  6. add 5 cups of hot water and cook until done

  7. add lemon juice and dried mint

  8. blend

  9. voila!
