1 cup red lentils
1/2 cup brown rice
1 large onion, diced
2 large carrots, grated
8 cups water
2 chicken bouillon cubes

Recipe Directions for Red Lentil Soup

  1. Add all ingredients to soup pot

  2. Cook on low to medium heat for 1.5 hours

  3. Stir frequently

  4. Serve hot, with bread
