Recipe Ingredients for Red Lentil Soup (red beans)

1 cup red beans
1 red onion, diced
2 cups carrots, diced
4 beets, diced
1/4 cup white miso

Recipe Directions for Red Lentil Soup (red beans)

  1. Wash and drain the lentils for 40 min with bay leaves (6).

  2. Remove bay leaves.

  3. Add vegetables to lentils and cook for 1 hour. Puree or blend well.

  4. Dissolve miso in a little water and add.

  5. Heat pureed mixture on low for 10 mintes.

  6. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
