Spicy red lentil patty, browned in olive oil.

Recipe Ingredients for Red Lentil Patty

8 oz Lentils
1 tbsp chopped Onions
1/2 medium Red Bell Pepper
1 1tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seed
1 dash Salt, Table
1 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
1 slice Bread, Whole-wheat, Commercially Prepared, Toasted

Recipe Directions for Red Lentil Patty

Cook red lentils in unsalted water. Saute onions and peppers in some olive oil. Put all items in the food processor until smooth and sticky. Spoon mixture into patty shape in hot pan with a little olive oil. Brown and serve with tomatoes and romaine.
