Recipe Ingredients for Red Clam Sauce

1 T olive oil
1 cup white onions, diced
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 c tomato sauce
3/4 cup clams
2 T clam juice

Recipe Directions for Red Clam Sauce

  1. heat olive oil in sauce pan

  2. add onions and cook on low heat for 10 minutes, cover

  3. add garlic and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes, don't let garlic burn

  4. add spices if needed

  5. add tomato sauce, cook for 5 minutes

  6. add clams - cook for 10 minutes or until desired consistency is reach

  7. add clam juice for flavor / consistency
