Recipe Ingredients for red clam sauce

174 g clams, dozen
3 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 tsp garlic, chopped
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
2 cups tomatoes, plum
1 anchovy fillet
1 chili pepper

Recipe Directions for red clam sauce

  1. Wash clams. Steam until open.

  2. Detach meat and swish in juices to rinse off sand.

  3. Filter clam juice and keep.

  4. Cook garlic in oil. Add parsley then tomatoes, anchovy, and clam juice.

  5. Simmer for 25 minutes.

  6. Add chili pepper and clams.

  7. Serve with spaghetti.
