Recipe Ingredients for Red cabbage salad

1/2 head red cabbage
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2/3 c. red wine vinegar
3 T. sugar
2 t. salt
1 t. Lawry's seasoned salt
1/4 t. black pepper

Recipe Directions for Red cabbage salad

  1. Whisk together vegetable oil, red wine vinegar, sugar, salt, seasoned salt, and black pepper in a large bowl (with lid)

  2. Shred cabbage finely

  3. Toss the cabbage into the mixture and cover bowl with lid. If no bowl with lid is available you can toss in a zip-top bag.

  4. Refrigerate for at least 48 hours (the longer the better).

  5. The cabbage salad can be served with iceberg lettuce and creamy blue cheese dressing.
