Recipe Ingredients for Red Cabbage Salad

1/2 head cabbage, red
2 stalks of celery, sliced
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced into half moons
2 apples, cut into small chunks (I used one red and one green)
1/4 cup of golden raisins
1/4 cup of toasted walnuts
1/4 cup of chopped dill
1/4 cup of lemon juice
2 tbsp of olive oil
1 tsp of Dijon mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Salt and pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Red Cabbage Salad

  1. Combine lemon juice, olive oil, mustard, garlic powder, and salt and pepper in a small bowl. Give it a quick whisk and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl combine cabbage, celery, onion, apples, raisins, and dill. Top with dressing and combine well.

  3. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with walnuts? Enjoy!

  4. Serves 6 as a side.
