Recipe Ingredients for red beans & wild rice with bacon

4 oz Wild Rice
16 oz Small Red Beans, Organic
3 oz Organics Red Kidney Beans Dry
4 slices Sliced Bacon
0.5 oz White Flour, Unbleached
1 tsp Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Pepper, Tabasco
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
2 tbsp Parsley
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Chili Powder
0.25 tsp Garlic

Recipe Directions for red beans & wild rice with bacon

cook rice, fry bacon in separate pan, add onions and saute until tender. remove bacon and onions from pan and blend flour into bacon drippings. cook over low heat stirring constantly until flour is browned., add juice from beans and enough water to make 1 cup of liquid. cook until slightly thickened add beans and onion and other seasoning., simmer for 10 minutes to bliend flavors,. serve over the cooked rice.
