2 tsp chili powder 1 t cumin 1 t seas. salt 1 t oregano 1/2 t white pepper 1/4 t red pepper 2 bay leaves crushed 1 1# beans 1# smoked sausage 1 celery stalk 1 onion 4 cloves garlic 1T brown sugar 2 cups uncooked rice

4 serving Chili Powder
1 tsp Cumin
16 oz Beans Pinto

Recipe Directions for Red Beans and Rice

soak beans then add all but rice and let simmer for2-3 hours add water if necessary. brown sugar in last 30 minutes. cook rice and serve beans over it
