Recipe Ingredients for Red Beans and Rice

1 pound red beans, dried
1 tsp pepper
4 cups water
6 oz tomato paste
8 oz tomato sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound italian sausage

Recipe Directions for Red Beans and Rice

  1. Soak beans for 8 hours, discard soaking water

  2. Mix together all ingredients in slow cooker

  3. Cover. Cook 10-12 hours until beans are soft. Serve over rice.
