Red Beans Recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Red Beans

15 oz Stewed Tomatoes
60 oz red beans
1 tbsp chicken bouillon
1 medium onion
1 1/2 tbsp butter
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Red Beans

  1. Get a saute pan that will handle the volume of all the ingredients.

  2. Mince or slice onion to desired size and saute in butter over medium heat until translucent.

  3. Add Tomatoes, Beans, Bouillon (w/ 16 oz water) and spices to saute pan.

  4. Simmer for at least 30 minutes or until thick.

  5. Serve over rice (Basmati is my favorite!)
