Recipe Ingredients for Red Beans and Brown Rice

1 (173g) potato
1 1/2 cups black eyed peas
1 7/10 cups red kidney beans
1 cup brown rice
4 cloves (12g) garlic
1/2 (75g) onion
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Red Beans and Brown Rice

  1. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil.

  2. Cook rice.

  3. Cook rest of ingredients in a separate vessel.

  4. Mash beans slightly.

  5. Serve together
