Nice gravy for meatballs. Make and brown meatballs in the pan. Remove from pan and set aside.

Recipe Ingredients for Really good gravy

3 tbls fat, beef drippings
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2 tbls red wine
1 cup chicken broth
2 tbls half and half
1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Really good gravy

  1. Set heat to medium.

  2. Add 1 Tbls Kitchen Bouquet Seasoning.

  3. Alternately whisk in some flour and chicken broth till smooth.

  4. Add wine, vanilla and half and half, whisk smooth.

  5. Add 1 Tbls Braggs Liquid Aminos

  6. Alternately whisk in remaining flour and chicken broth.

  7. Stir until gravy thickens.

  8. Optional: Add meatballs back and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve over egg noodles or just eat plain.
