Recipe Ingredients for Really Good Brownies

1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup black coffee
1/4 cup chocolate chips
6 tablespoons butter
1 egg
1 egg white
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Really Good Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 325 Farenheit.

  2. Brew 1/4 cup coffee. Add 1/4 cup chocolate chips and melted butter, stir to melt chocolate chips. Stir in vanilla, egg, and egg white.

  3. In separate bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.

  4. Stir together wet and dry ingredients until just combined. Pour into 9-inch square (ish) pan coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle other 1/4 cup chocolate chips on top. Bake for 25 minutes.

  5. Cut into 12 bars.
