8 oz Cream Cheese Neufchatel 1/3 Less Fat
6 oz Parmesan, Shredded Cheese

0.5 cup 100% Lactose-Free Fat Free Milk
1 tbsp chopped Onions
1 clove Garlic
0.25 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
0.25 tsp Nutmeg, Ground

Recipe Directions for Really Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, margarine, milk, garlic powder and basil and stir over low heat until smooth and creamy, 10 to 15 minutes. Toss sauce with pasta and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve.
