Recipe Ingredients for RD's Jambalya

1 link Polish Sausage
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 cup, diced Celery
1 cup, chopped Onions
2 tbsp Olive Oil
0.5 cup Rice, White, Long-grain, Regular
14 oz Tomatoes Diced No Salt Added
2 cup Vegetable Broth
1 serving Pepper Sauce

Recipe Directions for RD's Jambalya

  1. Dice green pepper, onion, and celery.

  2. Slice sausage into 1/4 in slices, then cut each slice into fourths.

  3. Brown sausage in olive oil. Add green pepper, onion and celery. Cover and cook until vegetables are soft.

  4. Add rice, canned tomatoes with liquid and 1 3/4 c. vegetable broth. Shake in tabasco sauce to taste. Cover and simmer for about 25 minutes until rice is cooked. Check while cooking and add the rest of the vegetable broth if necessary.
