Recipe Ingredients for Rayne's Rigatoni Bolognesca

3 tbs olive oil
1 medium onion
1 bell pepper
2 stalks celery
9 cloves garlic
1 cup beef broth
1 tbs beef bouillon
3 cups water
0.87 lb ground beef
1 tbs marjoram
1 tbs oregano
1 tbs basil
16 oz diced tomatoes
4 oz tomato paste
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 cup red wine
12 oz rigatoni

Recipe Directions for Rayne's Rigatoni Bolognesca

  1. saute diced vegatables in 1 tbs olive oil

  2. brown meat in 1tbs olive oil and add to sauteed vegetables

  3. add the beef broth, water, bouillon and evaporated milk and simmer for 1 1/2 hours

  4. heat 1 tbs olive oil in a seperate pan and add diced tomatoes, red wine and herbs. reduce liquid and add the paste.

  5. add tomato mixture to the meat and simmer for another 30 minutes.

  6. cook pasta until just before al dente and stir into sauce
