This rich, meaty pâté is a good choice when you are really hungry. For a satisfying lunch have a scoop of it on a salad or in a RAW sandwich. *For Curried Walnut Pâté add 1/4 teaspoon curry powder*

Recipe Ingredients for RAW Walnut Pâté

1 cup walnuts, raw, soaked for 4-6 hours
1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon tamari
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon parsley, fresh, minced
1 tablespoon onion, minced
1 dash salt

Recipe Directions for RAW Walnut Pâté

  1. Place the walnuts, lemon juice, olive oil, tamari, garlic powder, and salt in a food processor fitted with the S blade and process into a paste.

  2. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.

  3. Transfer into a small mixing bowl.

  4. Stir in the parsley and onion, mix well.

  5. Stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator, RAW Walnut Pâté will keep for 5 days.
