Makes 4 servings



From Ani Phyo's cookbook "Ani's Raw Food Kitchen." The original recipe had 1/2 cup pitted dates, but that added a lot of sugar to the drink and I think mangoes are sweet enough on their own w/o the dates so I omitted them.

Recipe Ingredients for (raw) Mango Lassi

3 cups water
2 mangoes, peeled, seeded, and cubed
1/4 cup almonds
1/10 ounce vanilla bean (1 bean)

Recipe Directions for (raw) Mango Lassi

  1. Blen 2 cups of water with mangoes, almonds, dates (if using), and the vanilla bean until smooth. Add the remaining water and blend until smooth.

  2. Will keep for 3 days int he fridge.
