Recipe Ingredients for Raven & Rayne's Semi-Spicy Turkey Chili

1 lb kidney beans
1 1/4 lb ground turkey
1 bell pepper (diced)(poblano)
1 medium onion (diced)
28 grams jalapenos (diced) (2 whole)
3 tbsp garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp cumin
2 tbsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
29 oz canned tomatoes
1/2 tsp habanero
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp corn meal
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 oz paulaner hefeweizen

Recipe Directions for Raven & Rayne's Semi-Spicy Turkey Chili

  1. Mix 1 tbsp chili powder, oregano, coriander, cumin, paprika and black epper into the turkey meat.

  2. Heat in a cast iron dutch oven.

  3. Stir in onions, garlic, peppers, tomatoes, salt, and 1 tbsp chili powder.

  4. Simmer for a few minutes.

  5. Add kidney beans.

  6. Let simmer for half an hour.

  7. Add beer and simmer for another 10 minutes.

  8. Serve with cheddar cheese, freshly diced onion, sour cream and saltine crackers.
