A delicious soup made from potatoes and broccoli.

Recipe Ingredients for Raven & Rayne's Potato Broccoli Soup

1/2 tbsp olive oil
30 grams salt pork
1 medium onion, diced
4 small russet potatoes, thinly sliced
2 small yukon gold potatoes, cubed
1 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
2 cups milk
2 cups water
1 cup broccoli florets, chopped
1 tsp creole seasoning

Recipe Directions for Raven & Rayne's Potato Broccoli Soup

  1. Heat oil in cast iron dutch oven.

  2. Add onion and salt pork.

  3. Cook until onion becomes soft.

  4. Layer russet potato slices on top of onions.

  5. Pour in 1 cup milk and 1 cup water.

  6. Sprinkle with black pepper, garlic powder and paprika.

  7. Let simmer until potatoes fall apart stirring periodically.

  8. Add yukon gold potatoes and broccoli.

  9. Pour in remaining water and milk.

  10. Let cook until potatoes and broccoli are soft.

  11. Optional: Top with cheddar cheese and sour cream.
