A not too sweet frosting made with cream cheese and heavy whipping cream.

Recipe Ingredients for Raven & Rayne's Double Cream Whipped Frosting

16 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups heavy cream

Recipe Directions for Raven & Rayne's Double Cream Whipped Frosting

  1. Using a whisk or electric mixer cream together the cream cheese and the sugar.

  2. Add the salt and vanilla extract and mix on medium.

  3. Turn the mixer to high and slowly add the heavy whipping cream in a steady stream.

  4. Continue whipping until the frosting holds a stiff peak.

  5. Frosts one 9" round 2-layer cake.
