Recipe Ingredients for Ratatouille-Style Chili

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
2 medium onions, chopped
32 oz spaghetti sauce
14 1/2 oz can tomatoes, cut up
29 oz light kidney beans
2 zucchini, peeled and cubed
2 tbs chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Ratatouille-Style Chili

  1. Cook beef and onion in dutch oven until beef is brown and onion is tender. Drain fat.

  2. Stir in spaghetti sauce, undrained tomatoes, beans, zucchini, chili peppers, chili powder, cumin and 1 cup water. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper.
