Recipe Ingredients for Raspberry Scones

2 cups spelt flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup canola oil
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup hot water
1 cup fresh raspberries

Recipe Directions for Raspberry Scones

  1. Whisk together flour baking powder and salt.

  2. Stir in oil, maple syrup(sub with agave nectar), and vanilla.

  3. Stir in hot water, then raspberries.

  4. Cook on baking sheet with wax paper at 375 for 20 minutes. Makes 8 scones.

  5. Tip: Half the oil can be subbed with applesauce.
