Recipe Ingredients for Raspberry Blitz bars BOTB

1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup Flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 sliced almonds
1/2 cups seedless raspberry jam
1 cup white chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Raspberry Blitz bars BOTB

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Combine softened butter, and sugar, add salt and vanilla then stir in flour, to make a stiff, crumbly dough, that will hold together when pressed. If too dry, add 1-2 tsp. water. Set aside 1/3 of the dough.

  2. Press 2/3 dough into a greased 9X9 pan. Bake 15 minutes.

  3. While crust is baking, stir almonds into remaining dough.

  4. Bring jam to room temperature in micro-proof dish for 15 seconds in microwave. Stir gentley to smooth.

  5. After baking crust, remove from oven and gently spoon jam over crust evenly.

  6. Sprinkle white chocolate chips over jam

  7. Crumble almond dough over the top. Do not press down.

  8. Return to oven for 15 minutes. Till edges are lightly browned and jam is bubbling.

  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Run a knife around edge of pan to loosen. Cut into 18 bars.
