Makes 2 loaves. Calories are for 1/4 a loaf of bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Rapid Rise White Bread Bread

6 1/2 cups bread flour
3 1/2 tsp salt
6 3/4 tsp active dry yeast
1/4 cup butter
2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Rapid Rise White Bread Bread

  1. add 5.5 cups of flour, salt, yeast and softened butter to mixer. mix for 30 seconds. slowly add hot water (120-130 degrees). mix for 90 seconds. Add remaining 1 - 1.5 cups flour 1/2 cup at a time. Knead for 2 minutes.

  2. let rest in bowl for 20 minutes, then shape into 2 loaves. Refrigerate for 2-12 hours.

  3. When ready to bake let sit at room temp for 10-15 minutes, while oven preheats to 400. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
