This quiche has canned skim milk rather than half and half.

Recipe Ingredients for Randy's Quiche

3 egg Organic Free-Roaming Large Brown Eggs
1 cup Milk
2 slices Fully Cooked Bacon
2 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
2 slice (1 oz) Low Fat, Cheddar Or Colby Cheese
1/4 tsp Seasoning Blend
1 crust, single 9" Pie Crust, Standard-type

Recipe Directions for Randy's Quiche

  1. precook bacon or buy shredded (preferred)

  2. dice green onions, greens included.

  3. shred lite cheddar or colby cheese

  4. place bacon and most of cheese and onions in pie crust and place in oven for 5 minutes or so to melt cheese. If you don't do this all ingredients come to the top when mixed

  5. in bowl mix eggs and canned milk with seasonings of choice

  6. add rest of cheese and onions

  7. bring out crust from oven and pour egg mixture into crust

  8. bake according to crust instructions for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick or fork comes out clean when placed in the middle of quiche

  9. allow to cool to just warm, slice into pie wedges and serve
