Recipe Ingredients for Rancho Pinto Beans

4 cup Beans, Pinto, Mature Seeds
0.5 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.5 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
3 tsp Quality Spices Cumin
3 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Bouillon

Recipe Directions for Rancho Pinto Beans

  1. cook 2 cups dried beans covered in water until soft - they will expand to about 4 cups of beans - about 1 hour.

  2. chop onion and bell pepper into small dice. Saute in large pan. add spices and cooked beans. mix bouillon into 1 cup boiling water and then add to beans. simmer until flavors meld, about 30 minutes.
